Over 500 alumni have 'friended' Edgewater Crew on Facebook! We are in the process of adding photo scrapbooks from all eras to this site and have seen numerous dialogs enganged and friendships renewed. Edgewater Crew will be the first high school team in Florida to celebrate its 50th Season in 2012-2013. Be sure to check back here and on Facebook often for news and events about the yearlong celebration.

ALUMNI RECLAIM ERG RECORD
Just 2 months after graduation, Duncan Popkins and Will Rumplik came back to the boathouse to reclaim their world record for continuous tandem erging. The record they set of 30 hours last November had been topped to 39 by an Oklahoma duo in the Spring. Will and Duncan set the new mark at 50 hours in tribute to the upcoming 50th season of Edgewater Crew. This was likely their last chance as Duncan is attending the University of Florida this Fall while Will is attending UCF. Their eligibilty for the record expires after they turn 19.
Edgewater Masters
We continue to see alumni turning out for Edgewater Masters; this summer we had someone from the 80's, 90's and 00's on the roster and competing at the Halifax Regatta where Edgewater had medals in each race it entered. All Edgewater Crew Alumni living in the greater Orlando area are invited to take part in the Edgewater Masters program, which has 4 separate 10-week seasons that each include at least one regatta.
